I recently had the pleasure of helping to transform Woodley Village Hall for a 50th birthday celebration.
A warm, yet typical, village hall - high ceiling, lacking in light and a little plain if I’m honest ....but all the better for balloon decorations which provide a layer of colour and movement between the tables and the ceiling!
Before

The balloon decorations were a surprise element organised by the birthday girl’s husband and the colour theme was based around the colour of the dress chosen especially for the occasion. You can imagine her husband’s unease when she had second thoughts and contemplated wearing something completely different!
Latex balloons in black, white and wild berry in the new Damask design from Qualatex were used to create table decorations and ‘party balls’ for either side of the stage. The stars of the show were the giant number people which created a fabulous focal point at the front of the hall. A holographic foil ‘5’ and ‘0’ were used which threw out all sorts of colours and shimmered really well in the theatrical lights pointing down onto the stage. The smiley faces were again in wild berry to complement the colour in the latex balloons.
After

By the time I left, the hall looked inviting, colourful and fun. Perfect for a party!
