It certainly was a damp and grey day for a Wedding Fayre last Saturday but this didn’t deter many a bride and groom-to-be from attending. In fact, the gloomy skies provided the perfect back drop for the colours showcased within the venue.
There were many exhibitors offering a variety of products and services but in essence, current trends can be summed up in three words:
- Pastels
- Vintage
- Butterflies
We used green, blue, lavender, pink and yellow balloons to create a variety of pastel decorations.
There was a lot of interest in our ‘Gumball’ balloon decoration which was created using a 36” Qualatex ‘Just Married Butterflies-A-Round’ balloon filled with lots of pastel pearl 5” latex balloons. A string of white ‘Décorlites’ hidden within the tulle added a little bit of ‘twinkle’ – ideal for evening receptions.
Our spiral 5 balloon table centrepiece created around a mirror base was also admired my many and received lots of complements whilst the co-ordinating pastel coloured flying saucer sweets went down a treat!
